I thought this inspiring interview was/is something which every aspiring musician would benefit greatly from hearing. Many successful musicians – who don’t have the natural talent and musical skills that Guthrie has – would also be inspired to hear what he has to say. He is a self-made man and artist, and that is why he has become successful in a very difficult profession. I can say wholeheartedly that Guthrie is as genuine and authentic as his playing reveals. I am currently studying with him via ArtistWorks and have gotten to know him and his teaching philosophy through our recent video exchanges. Excellent interview. Be Here Now.
